At Health Carousel Travel Nursing we believe in recognizing our travel nurses when they’ve upheld their promise of going to great lengths to provide excellent patient care. This month we want to highlight a nurse who consistently works the most hours of any nurse on our travel staff and has stepped up to mentor other nurses at her facility in a big way.

Our September 2016 Travel Nurse of the Month is Theresa! Thanks for working your tail off—you are the perfect example of the type of travel nurse we are proud to place on assignment.

Here’s what her recruiter, Blaine, had to say about her:

Theresa was referred to us by another long-time traveler with us, and she instantly made our staff stronger. On just her first assignment with us she has made herself available to take call on a regular basis and since then has always picked up extra hours. In addition to general assignment responsibilities, she has also taken the reigns of the training at the hospital and has quickly become a trusted member of their permanent staff. She is one of the most professional individuals I have had the pleasure of working with. She rarely complains and always steps up to go above what is asked of her or what is needed. I look forward to continuing to work with Theresa because she makes my job easier, simply by being responsive, considerate, helpful, and professional.

Well said, Blaine. And thank you, Theresa, for being awesome!

For this honor, Theresa will be receiving one of our signature Traveler of the Month pins as well as a pizza party on us for her entire unit.
