In honor of National Nurse Day and to kick off Nurses Week, Health Carousel Travel Nursing would like to introduce our first Travel Nurse of the Month. We have the pleasure of being associated with so many outstanding individuals, so deciding to highlight one nurse each month can be somewhat difficult because of the outstanding strides that all of our nurses make on a daily basis. With that said, this is a welcomed task, and we look forward to recognizing a new traveler and his or her accolades every month.

For the month of May, our team has decided to tribute Shannon, our Nurse Liaison! Shannon has been traveling with her recruiter, Terri Ball for about five years. Terri has raved about working with Shannon, and this is what she had to say:

Shannon has traveled with us for a long time, and she has been an absolute joy to work with. She is motivated and eager to help in any way she can. In fact, she is our Nurse Liaison, so she makes herself available to our other travelers in the field 24/7. This speaks volumes about her dedication to teamwork!

Lastly, Shannon is constantly being contacted by facilities asking her to return, and she typically with a glowing recommendation. For example, one facility delivered the following feedback: “Fantastic to work with; we would love to have her back at any time. One of the most dependable RN’s I have worked with.”

It is such a privilege to be in the company of so many accomplished travelers. Shannon, from all of us, we would like to thank you for your hard work and dedication. You truly emulate what it means to exceed expectations. We are so lucky to have you as a part of our team, and we look forward to a long-lasting relationship!
